Hahahahaha, this is hilarious. Thank your lucky stars this screwed up timing happens in college - only 3 yrs or so. What if it happened in school with 12 yrs? Love the fun your relatives have at your expense

Oh yes! Thank you God! But it was only slightly better in school. Once I had my birthday on a sunday (in class VII I think), and the next day it was a unit test...

Being born on the 7th of January is no relief either. And IIT Kgp once actually started the semester on my Birthday, with half my day (MY DAY!) spent standing in registration queues. You and me have a very similar view on the 'significance' of a Birthday actually, as you might have seen on my Birthday post (OK, I know that sounds cheesy, but it was my Birthday!).
And of course, a belated Very Happy... New Year :P
