In this era of email, who has the time to write a letter? Perhaps, I do.

  • You are a true romantic, a throw back on yesteryears. Yes handwritten letters are matchless, but only special letters need be handwritten. The fast paced life makes it necessary to use the email.
  • I agree. You cannot write a letter by hand to your colleague, who lives in another country, to be delivered by snail mail! It will take atleast 10 days to reach him, which is ages in today's world! :)

  • Over the years I have collected letters from my grandparents, parents,friends and relatives . My grandparents are no longer in this world and their letters are no less than a treasure for me. There can be no substitute for letters.
  • No substitutes, I must say. Letters from Grandparents et al have their love, their blessings, their care. Nothing compared to them.

    i too would prefer to write letters to loved ones instead of emails but we do need emails for formal messages
