    this happens in lady's local trains too. The women are so incorrigible, they refuse to move and talking sense with them is impossible. I haven't seen this in men's locals here, though.

    Ah, seen that too. But I guess people do that because what with the sudden jerks and all, standing often leads to them falling on the others anyhow. Safer to sit. :/

    [Why am I justifying this? I sat down once too. But in my defence, the metro was empty then. :P]

    i totally agree with you
    some time back i swa all men sitting in ther seats reserved for women
    the plate above their head clearly proclaiming that the seats were reserved for women and women only
